My Story
Experiencing breastfeeding challenges with my first daughter was exhausting, frustrating, and left me feeling defeated. My commitment to breastfeeding drove me to seek help from professionals and to educate myself about lactation. In the process, I found support from La Leche League. Through this non-profit’s mission to offer parent-to-parent breastfeeding support, I found my passion for helping parents with evidenced-based information and empathetic support. I became an accredited La Leche League Leader and still serve in this volunteer capacity. My desire to learn more and turn my passion into a career drove me to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
I am a New Jersey native and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Vassar College with a BA in Economics. I left my career as a marketing research consultant to focus on raising my three daughters.
I am a member of:
-
International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA)
-
US Lactation Consultant Association (USLCA)
-
NJ Breastfeeding Coalition
In addition to my private practice, I am a Per Diem IBCLC at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ.
When I’m not working or volunteering with the PTO or Girl Scouts, I enjoy running, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my husband, Jonathan, three daughters, and my Goldendoodle, Ginger.
